From the Housetop

January 25, 2010

We discussed Galatians 6 yesterday, about reaping what you sow, and mentioned this quote from Oscar Wilde – “I forgot somewhere along the line that what you are in secret you will someday cry aloud from the housetop.”
He wrote this from a prison cell, after a sordid series of actions. The statement gets to the heart of what we so often forget – nothing we do “in secret” really stays secret.

Very true. Reminds me of Numbers 32:23–“be sure your sin will find you out.”
